Project overview:
The Wander On project is a design that aims to assist elderly Baby Boomers and others who lack the confidence to move independently. It includes two main components: a smart cane and an interactive walker. The goal of the project is to create a device that simplifies the freedom to roam for the elderly population, and serves as a "helping hand" by providing guidance, security, and physical support.
The smart cane is designed to measure the user's vital signs such as pulse, blood pressure, and temperature and has built-in sensors. It also features an SOS button that can connect the user to a support center for immediate assistance if necessary.
By providing the elderly population with these devices, it is intended to help them maintain their independence and improve their overall quality of life. The Wander On project contributes to the equilibrium of independence that is constantly sought after.
